More than one in eight couples in the United States has trouble conceiving or sustaining a pregnancy. Primary care and family planning centers are often the first place patients turn to with concerns about their ability to get pregnant. Some concerns can be addressed with basic screening and education, while others may require specialist referrals.

This session will provide an overview of basic infertility assessment, causes, treatment options, patient resources and how to discuss infertility and related paths forward with patients.
