    The NC Ob/Gyn Society & NC Section of ACOG's 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting

    Meeting Features: For the first time the NCOGS Annual Meeting will be VIRTUAL! Friday evening’s session will include the annual Business Meeting and Advocacy Update followed by Happy Hour with attendees and exhibitors.  You can also “speed date” at our Virtual Job Fair!

    Saturday morning’s General Session kicks off with the a presentation by Krista Wagoner, MD, who will share her talk on “Caring for the Millennial Patient.” Saturday also features a panel discussion on optimizing patient care with APPs followed by resident presentations.

    Additionally, we are happy to offer an Opiate Course presented by Elisabeth Johnson, PhD, FNP-BC, CARN, AP.

    Breast Ultrasound with Tom Stavros 2021
    Hot Topics in Advanced Screening and Diagnosis

    This course will emphasize a new classification system on breast cancer and will focus on “non”-mass ultrasound findings, an analysis of causes of false negative BI-RADS 3 classifications, and new ways of classifying breast nodules that can help objectively assign BI-RADS 4 subcategories and improve ultrasound’s ability to serve as a biomarker. I will lead interactive case readings with an audience response system, and we have time set aside for questions and answers.

    National Clinical Training Center for Family Planning, invites you to save the date for the 2021 Title X National Reproductive Health Conference! The 2021 conference will be held from August 10th through the 14th. The NRHC is one of the largest Title X conferences in the nation, specifically focusing on women’s and reproductive health, with expected attendance of over 600 healthcare professionals from across the nation.

    Conference attendees include nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses, social workers, clinic administrators, and health educators. While this past year has presented unprecedented challenges and changes due to COVID-19, they are planning on holding a conference in 2021, whether it be online and virtual, or on location and face-to-face.
